Water treatment chemicals are used in cooling tower system to inhibit scale and corrosion. Scaling and corrosion reduces the efficiency of cooling and results in unexpected breakdowns. While using the water treatment chemicals in cooling tower system the dosage level of chemical plays an important role. Hence to monitor the dosage level of water treatment chemicals in water treatment systems, fluorescent tracer based water treatment chemicals are in demand. Due to this treatment cut flowers remains fresh in saleable condition, though it takes time after cutting from the farm till the delivery to customer. In agricultural research to monitor the spray deposition on crops and its movement tracer material is used. Ideally, any tracer material used is highly soluble and stable in the solution being sprayed, easily recoverable from both artificial and plant samples, and not easily or quickly degraded in sunlight.
